Myself

Started investing in 1997 while in university. First stock purchase was Hollinger.

Conservative keeping things simple value investor. Comfortable with margins, first level options, short selling, North American equities and ADRs, big and small, new and old, from technology to diamonds to tobacco stocks to potential takeover targets. I analyze both fundamentals and technicals. Charts, financial statements, and insider ownership info are my main tools. Not comfortable with companies that generate consistent losses or have high financing risk.

A chronic learner. Loves to read and listen to other investors' perspectives and ideas. Cannot get enough of business television and articles. Always researching companies, profitable and not, because both offer valuable lessons.
